Refund Policy

At How of Eating, we strive to provide high-quality educational experiences. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and transfers are handled for our classes and programs.

By registering for any class or service, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. GENERAL REFUND POLICY
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to: howofeating@gmail.com
Refund eligibility depends on when the request is received and the type of program purchased.

2. CLASS AND PROGRAM REFUNDS
2.1 Live Classes (In-Person or Virtual)
- Full refund: Available if you cancel 7 or more days before the class start date.
- Partial refund (50%): Available if you cancel 3–6 days before the class start date.
- No refund: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class start date, or failure to attend, are not eligible for a refund.

2.2 Multi-Session Courses or Programs
- Full refund: If canceled 7 or more days before the first session.
- Partial refund (pro-rated): If canceled after the program begins but before attending more than 25% of the sessions.
- No refund: After attending 25% or more of the sessions.

2.3 Digital Products or Online Materials
No refunds are issued for:
- Downloadable materials  
- Digital guides  
- Pre-recorded content  
- Online modules accessible immediately upon purchase

These products are considered “delivered” once access is granted.

3. CLASS TRANSFERS
You may request to transfer to a different class date or program:
- At no cost if the request is made 7 or more days before the original class.
- A $25 transfer fee may apply for requests made 3–6 days before the class.
- Transfers are not available within 48 hours of the class start time.

All transfers are subject to availability.

4. CANCELLATIONS BY HOW OF EATING
If How of Eating cancels a class or program due to low enrollment, instructor availability, or unforeseen circumstances:
- You will receive a full refund, or
- The option to transfer to another class at no cost.

We are not responsible for travel costs, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by participants.

5. LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you are expecting a refund:
- Refunds typically process within 7–10 business days.
- Check with your bank or credit card company, as processing times may vary.
- If you have not received your refund after 14 days, contact us at: howofeating@gmail.com

6. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
We understand that emergencies occur. At our discretion, we may offer:
- Partial credit
- Class transfers
- Rescheduling options

Documentation may be required for exceptions.
